Who am I?
I am but a man… Who likes sports, art, helping people, and finding fun and amazement throughout life.
I do find amazement throughout life, but I also find amazement in people navigating their ever-changing world. I watch and learn, and sometimes I participate in capturing those moments.
My regular job is running an Engineering Lab organization for a major cable company. Photography literally functions as a creative outlet – whether shooting or teaching/training others on camera and strategy fundamentals.

Am I a Canon, Nikon, or Sony guy?
Canon… 100%, 70% of the time. 🙂
I have shot with most major brands, but have mostly run with Canon.
I primarily shoot with an R6 and the 70-200 2.8 EF III, or the 85 1.8. But I have many other lenses and bodies.
What is your favorite Genres?
Music??? I listen to everything, it just depends on my mood. I am in to raspy folk, country, hard rock, classic rock, 90’s alternative, and even some rap.
Photography??? I primarily shoot Events (Sports, and Travel). However, I do pick up individual and family portrait sessions on occasion.
Which brand Camera do you prefer?
As mentioned, each vendor/brand provides a unique experience and frankly, a different photo effect.
Canon – Life-like color science and robust lens lineup
Sony – Amazing image clarity and dynamic range, but has a complex menu system with lots of focus on video, and not a lot of low to mid-priced lenses to choose from.
Fuji X-Series – Video is amazing. And if you are looking for that film photography look, look no further. Beware of pushing the shadows – The x-trans sensor causes worms!
Pentax – One of the best low-cost all-around under-rated photography camera systems. Provides amazing image sharpness, but also has a complex menu system.
